Strawberry season is upon us and I have strawberries growing out the wazoo in my garden. However, waiting for them to come to ripeness and be able to use I must have my strawberry fix a bit quicker hahahaha. We love strawberries around this house, right down the the homemade strawberry jam.
This Strawberry Swirl Buckle cake is quick, easy and oh so tasty, moist an rich with a spectacular swirl of real strawberry filling. Just add butter and water. To make it even more delectable, dot cream cheese and Rhubarb Strawberry Fruit Spread over the top before baking. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or strawberry frozen yogurt. Makes 9 servings.
